sunday stills - animals of husbandry

This week's Sunday Stills challenge was animals of husbandry. Sophie and I spent most of yesterday flying down country back roads in search of some shots and came up empty handed. So I pulled this from my archives. These were some of the first sheep that Sophie took herding lessons with.

Very cute! They look like they are just waiting for someone or something to move them off.

Sheep! How wonderful! I love sheep, even though we only have one ancient ewe left. Very good job.

Great shot - I love their faces.

They're looking a little concerned but that's probably how sheep look most of the time! Either that or Sophie is giving them the eye.

I'm hoping to photograph some new lambs, they're due this week so fingers crossed.

I can see the look in their eyes that says, "Uh oh, here comes Sophie, look busy everyone!"

I love Sophie -- and I'll bet she's a heck of a sheepherder!

The kids and I drew cartoon sheep this morning...(school holidays here...groan!) and don't tell the kids, but these are much cuter! And a more natural color too! I never saw a purple sheep before, but it was kind of cute. ;-)

I'm not sure why, but I love sheep. They're kinda dorky in a way, yet aloof and cool. Maybe I feel a kinship with them. ;o)

Geez! They all even accommodated you and looked at the camera, instead of running away like some of my herd did. That's pretty cool!

Something certainly has their attention..maybe it is Sophie! Great photo! I would like to introduce Chance to some sheep! He wanted to go into the hog barn with me so badly the other day, I made him stay outside and he howled the entire time. I did not trustthose HUGE mama pigs with babies and a curious BC:)

Nice shot! Haha, it's funny how these little dudes are looking straight to the camera!
