There are times when I look over at her...
as I am working or cooking or reading a book...
and I can feel my love for her swell up and spill over in my heart.
She is the greatest gift I have ever known.

A post Sophie would write, too, don't you imagine? Except for the cooking and reading part,although she's a Border Collie so she probably does those things, too!
Funny, I thought about Sophie (and a couple of others) as I trudged around in the snow this morning. I'm glad you posted some snow-face photos.

So true of every animal that has graced my life and shared my home. Sometimes the love I feel for my animals threatens to bubble up and spill over onto everything. Sometimes, I let it. *grin*
