lessons - two

There are times when it is worth it to venture off the path in front of you into unknown, unchartered territory...

...you just may find something joyful there.

What a gleeful expression you captured and the movement too. I love this.

Sophie is obviously a very happy girl. You always capture the real essence of her spirit. Thanks for sharing her with us.

I love these lessons from Sophie. When we're tuned in to our animals, they have so very much to share with us.

Lesson #2 could also be "Walk tall and carry a big stick." ;)

This is one lesson I like to live by. Sophie looks so carefree in this picture. Our neighbors just got a 7 week old minature schnauzer (sp?) and named her Sophie, I thought of you.

From the little bit I have read of your blog, I love your earnest writing and your photos. As I have two Australian Shepherds (one with a bit of Border Collie in her!), your blog initially grabbed me because of Sophie. I absolutely love this shot of her and the one in your header where she is looking down the path!
