In March of 2007, I brought home Sophie...an 8 week old Border Collie. During my time with her I have learned, and continue to learn, a great deal about dogs, about life and about myself.
My blog, Finding Sirius, is about life with Sophie, our adventures and my thoughts on the world around me. Finding Sirius incorporates my love of writing, of photography and of dogs.
This week's Sunday Stills challenge was reflections. This photo was taken last summer with my old point & shoot camera. It's one of my favorites. I have used this photo in a previous post, but it was still the best picture for this week's challenge.
Very nic pic of Sophie! She must have been really hot or worn out to stand still long enough for you to get the picture. My Border Collie is very rarely still, even when he is exhausted.
The certainly is a bright shining star of a photo! KK PS At present I only have a point and shoot as well...goes on the horse trails without too much fear of damage!
What a beautiful photo! I remember seeing a profile on a photographer on tv - she did all her photos of reflections in the water. (I guess living by the ocean helped..) Sophie looks so happy there.

What a great picture this is. Two Sophies for the price of one. What could be better?
Makes me crave going up to the mountains this spring!

Beautiful shot of a beautiful dog. ;)
I don't think I could ever get a shot like this with my dogs - as soon as they hit the water it's SPLASH time.
Maybe the best pic I have seen all week. Beautiful!
