paw it forward - a giveaway!

Claire over at the rouxby blog (some of the best dog photography you will find) has engaged us in a fun game/giveaway called "paw it forward":

The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and ‘paw it forward’ in their own way. There are no cost restraints, BUT don’t go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. And, remember that kindness doesn’t have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go - just look around.” SO PAW IT FORWARD…

Sophie will be receiving a package from Claire and we, in turn, are going to send out a Finding Sirius package to three more pups (or cats). We are going to change the rules a little (Sophie likes to think outside the box) in keeping with our Charlie Project theme of celebrating the souls of our pets. We are going to randomly draw three names based on the following criteria:

1) If you would like to play, leave a comment on this post using three words to describe the wonderful soul of your dog or cat and your name will be entered into the draw

We will be drawing names Friday, May 8th at 6pm...so you have all week to enter through the comments section of this post.

Sophie and I are looking forward to "pawing it forward" and making a few people smile. I am also looking forward to the collection of comments that will share a little piece of the dog or cat souls that make our lives so rewarding.

I do enjoy the Paw it forward, I did it quite a while back. 3 words that describe my Mason:
tenderhearted
devoted
perceptive

I hope this is what you were looking for. My Mason has a huge heart, always knows when I am sad or happy and would not leave my side for all the treats in the world. She is my world and I feel that I am hers. =)

My dogs:
unconditional love
gentle
trusted
Scout and Freyja give to me what no human being has been able to do. They give to me the knowing that they will always be there for me whenever I need them and that the "why" I need them isn't important at all. All that matters is that we are together.

My cats:
sweet
funny
curious
Those guys being the comic relief to my days and nights. They can't tell time but they sure know when it's time for a snack or to play a good game of chase. Throughout the winter months they provide an unending supply of warm bodies that never tire of cuddling and purring.

How wonderful. That's a giveaway I can get excited about.

My cat, Bear, is my soul mate. He is love incarnate, my personal Zen Guru and Angel wrapped in fur. He is about as laid back as a body can be and still be alive. He's a precious gift with a heart of pure gold and I love him to bits. :o)

wow, I can't believe you are limiting us to 3 words.....it seems impossible. Before I post, Marty don't be offended that I'm only using 3 words...you know I think more of you.
so here are my 3 words to describe my dog Marty:
handsome-devil
devoted-goofball
stress-reliever

Love this idea. So sorry to be late to any of your lovely thoughts, photos, or writings.

Three words to sum up both JoJo and Minky would have to encasulate their willingness and devotion to show love and compassion:

I am here.
