In March of 2007, I brought home Sophie...an 8 week old Border Collie. During my time with her I have learned, and continue to learn, a great deal about dogs, about life and about myself.
My blog, Finding Sirius, is about life with Sophie, our adventures and my thoughts on the world around me. Finding Sirius incorporates my love of writing, of photography and of dogs.
I was trying to play catchup and came in through another blogger's site (you know how that is?).
I don't have a lot of time today to make individual posts on your posts, so let me say that I love your photography. Absolutely beautiful. I will be back.
I had a yellow kitchen for 28 years! Different shades of course but all yellow. Now you have seen that green that I have, I gave the 4 year old two samples, yellow again and that green and she choose the green and the rest is history :)
Andrea...I see you like dandelions too! Thanks for commenting on my Journal. My husband is doing very well considering what he went through...the other two people involved in the accident are not so lucky.
I think yellow is one of my favorites too. A happy color....even your lawnflower makes for a gorgeous picture. Sorry I'm so late........internet trouble.
When I was in elementary school I HAD to have a yellow bedroom with yellow curtains. I also made my dad paint my first two-wheel bike a beautiful yellow! I loved yellow!

I love yellow too. There is something so soothing and alive in that color. Thanks for another post of beauty for me to enjoy!
Yellow is my favorite color but it is sometimes difficult to photograph. Your photos here are beautiful:)
Lovely shots, Andrea. I cannot imagine a world without yellow.
Ah, a lovely Dandelion photo! They are so pretty I let them grow where they will. I would like to get enough someday to try to make Dandelion wine!
Very nice..:-)

I love the first shot. :D Is that a pot?

Great macro shot on the flower!
Yellow is such a happy color - beautiful flower - is it really a dandelion?
Beautiful! Love how you've captured every detail of the flower!

Like pure sunshine. Nicely done.
That flower looks like sunshine. Next winter, when the world has gone cold and gray, I'll have to remember it's here....

I really like the first one; simple colours, textures and a very homely looking plant pot. The text on there really completes it, wonderful stuff :)
Good choice of photos. Yellow is one of my favorites. Love the pics and story that goes along with your nephew!

All my walls are yellow and the first poem I ever remember writing was named, "Yellow." :) Thanks for a taste of that which I love.
