our print debut!

For all of my blogger friends who live in the Ontario area, Sophie and I will be in tomorrow's (March 22nd) Sunday Toronto Star newspaper. Last I was told, our story will actually begin on the front page! If you have a chance, and are so inclined, we hope you pick up a copy to read about a part of our journey together that I have not shared a lot about on this site.

For all of my blogger friends around the world, I believe the story will also be online, so I will post a link once I have it.

I have just finished reading the story. (For those who can't wait for Andrea to post the link is http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/article/606327)

Of course it is beautifully written and honest but also inspiring. I've found many of the same qualities in Lindsay that you have in Sophie. But, perhaps that's not unusual, it's just the gift dogs have been giving us humans since the dawn of time.

Congratulations on hitting the front page of the Star!

I see you also managed to sneak in a plug for your blog. Now watch the flood!

Andrea, this is beyond excitement. And now I can say, I read her blog before she became famous.

Looking forward to seeing the online issue, since I don't think that we are going to get it out here at the coast.

Congrats Andrea and Sophie! I just stumbled on your article in the Star. I am an equestrian photographer (I also do dogs) so I understand the passion you feel for photography, especially working with animals. Also I thought it was neat that you had an article in Animal Wellness! I had a cover with them also...I wonder if it was the same issue? ;o) Now I'm off to discover your blog!

Thanks Andrea... I read your story. The part that hit home with me was the part about you feeling embarrassed and lost and the fact it wasn't under your control. My dogs - a border collie/hound mix and a little Havanese have kept me "sane" and helped me through the last month after being "let go". Your story has inspired me to look beyond the "corporate ladder" and into something I am passionate about. Thanks for that!
